My daughter's most favorite things in the entire world are dogs. They are her bliss and greatest love. So, it only made sense that we would take her favorite breed (a Papillon) and turn it into hand-crafted treats for her classmates.
Supplies:
Thick card stock
A favorite picture or photo cut out from a magazine or printed off of the internet
Scissors
Clear bags
A red marker
Old fashioned candy
Instructions:
1. We didn't have a photo of a papillon puppy laying around so we picked a favorite off of the internet.
2. Next we printed it and cut around the edges of the picture to give it a "cropped" look.
3. Then, for effect, we scanned the photo (but you could always just make copies if you like) and adjusted the color of the photo.
4. We printed out 12 of the dogs of thick card stock – four to one sheet of paper. We arranged two in the middle and two at the bottom.
5. Next we cut the dogs out, leaving enough room to be able to fold the top like a card.
6. Next we drew little hearts coming up from the mouth like the dog was blowing little kisses!
7. We stuffed each bag with a mixture of Old Fashioned Red Sour Candy and Yellow Lemon Drops.
8. We taped the right and left sides of the card to the plastic bag.
9. Lastly, my daughter added one little red sticker – just cause.
Aren't these darling?
